I started my design career studying fashion as an undergrad and interning at the showroom of fashion designer Betsey Johnson. Later, I developed a love for all things print and advertising, and worked as an intern at Nylon magazine and then interned for the Creative Director at advertising agency, Allen and Gerritsen.
In my professional career, I worked as a graphic designer for a children’s environmental fundraiser, a book publisher, and a creative trade publication and event company who market to luxury brands, creative professionals, and the top photographers in the fashion and advertising industries. Within all positions I excelled in editorial layout design, production in print, event production, and art direction.
Two years ago I received my master’s degree in Design Studies at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, which gave me the opportunity to design within the food industry. There I designed an enterprise to encourage everyday cooking, which entailed designing a product, all branding and marketing materials, and an interior space.
